Botleys Mansion in Surrey is part of the highly regarded Bijou group of wedding venues in the UK. Botleys is an 18th century Palladian Mansion set not far from the motorway (about 5 minutes off the M25) but with its tall gates and winding track through a large open park area, you arrive at a private Mansion with a grand twisting outside staircase that has to be seen to be believed. For added privacy from the grand open park space opposite, Botleys has what only can be decried as a private dry moat, with a footbridge to allow you and your guests to use the park space where desired. On top of all that Botleys has a huge glass roofed room towards the rear that is used for your wedding breakfast, another impressive staircase entrance and room for 250 quests.
From a photographic point of view the front entrance and staircase are obviouse attractions for any photographer, while the well placed benches and water features also open doors for experimentation, as does the grand open park space and inner traditional rooms.
From experience the receptions and evenings at Botleys are well run, as is the catering, very tasty!
