Leigh Court, just outside central Bristol, is a great venue to photograph a wedding at. It is perfect for my style of photography with a lot of symmetry on the striking exterior, huge space for the ceremony room and one of the most amazing staircase layout in the country. As well as this there is intricate parts of the building with lovely light and extremly timeless decor, which really compliments my photography, I love shooting there.
Leigh Court is a Grade II* listed mansion house built in 1814 from Bath stone. Externally, it follows the graceful Palladian architectural style, while inside the bold Greek Revival style is complemented by striking 19th century decor.
Whether you’re looking to hold just the ceremony, reception or evening party (or all three) at Leigh Court, you can hire a choice of suites or the whole ground floor depending on your needs and the number of guests. And of course, you can always take the indoors outside with a marquee in the grounds.
