Getting married at Burgh Island
I spent this whole year driving round photographing weddings all over devon and cornwall. All over Europe and a few even further a field. I was however so lucky, even traveling through Italy , Spain and France shooting weddings in Chateauxs, Sorrento and on the great barrier reef, to shoot weddings at one of my favorite venues, Burgh Island in devon.
Shooting weddings at Burgh island is a special experience. Cut off by the tide on our own little island , a place to party and experience an amazing place. Private and beautiful with so many opportunities for photographs. Cut off for a time with those who are closest to you surrounding you in a building with amazing light and a natural stage for celebrating in the middle of the sea surrounded by beautiful devon.
Below I have added a few images of three weddings I have shot this year at Burgh Island. Every one of them was wonderful , great couples and the staff at Burgh island are the best around:) I am very lucky to travel but love the images and people I work with at this venue.
