Pickwell Manor is a superb friendly venue in North Devon between Croyde and Woolacombe. Pickwell offers complete or partial wedding coverage, as well as accommodation and access to local pubs/shops and beaches. The venue is run by Susie & Steve Baker and Tracey & Richard Elliott.
For civil ceremonies at Pickwell itself you can choose between the outside Rose Arbour or in the inside Ballroom that can seat over 90 people and over 150 evening guests. Pickwell is set in a great location with splendid views and the interior of the Manor is just as impressive as the exterior, with a staircase and many accommodation rooms for guests or bridal and groom preparations.
From a photographic point of the view, the surrounding fields and farmland are useful as a backdrop or to use for a little stroll away from Pickwell, alternatively the Manor itself is a great backdrop and if the weather turns for the worst then Pickwell Manor offers many splendid interior rooms to photograph in, one of which could be your bridal suite.
The owners at Pickwell have always been more than accommodating to all the weddings we have photographed there and on a more personal note, we have a good relationship with the owners and staff.
