Wedding photography is a choice. There is so many people out there doing wedding photography that no one ever should utter the words “I hated my wedding pics” I would always stress to any couple I see that ( in the nicest possible way ) choosing a wedding photographer is down to their research and if they don’t like the pics it can only be blamed on themselves. THERE IS SO MANY PHOTOGRAPHERS OUT THERE!!
I really enjoy the challenge at every wedding I do to make sure that as well as telling the story I collect images that tell the story from an alternative point of view. Every one at a wedding has a camera which I think is great. It provided me with the excuse to shoot stuff that they are never going to dream of doing. In the collection of pics from the wedding of Johnathan and Sarah below I have chosen a few of the pics that I am talking about the couple have about another 700+ pics to look at but for the time being I have selected some of my favorite alternative pictures from their collection.
It was a great day, I loved the getting ready part of the day in the house with Sarah, a troop of kids and loads of family. The church was great as well. Luckily the rain didn’t play a massive role in the day as the only time we needed it dry was for some confetti and we were granted our wish
